It's good to see Wellington Zoo has moved with the times. The last time I went there the animals were in concrete and wire cages and they had chimps tea parties and elephant rides (1960's).

Yes it's moved on a great deal in the last 10 years or so. They're investing a lot in nice big enclosures.

It's still on the same site in Newtown - they even have the old elephant house there but no elephants any more!
