CD Player problem

Featured Replies

Family are telling me that the CD Player is trying to read disks when I leave the car, What shall I do?

a) Stop listening to your family, or

B) don't leave the car... :D

But seriously...is this with the standard Symphony unit?

Both are Ideal :), It's the Stock single shot CD player on the New octavia classic. Apparantley when I leave the car, without my keys in the ignition and with the CD player turned off it makes the mechanical whirring it makes to read a CD, Kind of worrying I dont want it to wear out.....Whats happening?

Sounds like a fault with the headunit, get your local dealer to have a look for you, thats what the warranty is for, might as well use it.

I dont mean to be rude about them but he gave me some crap about it not being a multi-changer or something that was totally non-raled to my problem and that because the car was new they had not yet got much knowledge of the Audio equipment.....As Long as Roxette Dont start blaring in the multi-story im sure it wont be too much of a problem :)

LOL, great excuse, will have to remember that one.

Sorry I know nothing about your car, couldnt possbily fix it.
