Poor catalytic conversion efficiency?

The readiness check on the catalytic converter had not completed so I searched the net and ran the test as detailed in the last bit of this post http://forums.vwvortex.com/zerothread?id=1265064 Based on the info there it says catalytic conversion efficiency of 0.5 and less is considered good. However my figure was about 0.84. Was hoping someone here would have a bit more knowledge/insight on this than I do. It went up to 400c fine passing the test ok though and sorted the readiness.
