I know dar1984 has fitted a Cupra R Spliter to the front of his Mk II pre FL Octy RS but has anyone else? And do you have pictures?

and I have to say I like it. Nice mod for about £30 imho. I'm thinking of doing the same but would like to see the mod from a few more angles first.

Yep, i've gotta say, that looks good-it's subtly sporty and finishes off the front end well. Looks better than i thought it would. I've done this mod before on my old furby vrs.

It's a bit of a faff fitting it, but I might just have to do it again on my octy vrs tdi!!

I must get around to fitting one to mine. Could you find out what screws are best to attach it with please?

The recommendation I had was self tappers. Apparently you need to do a bit of trimming to the splitter to help make it fit.
