plz help me??????????

If it moves when you hit it, I would say the guage is faulty. Not sure if the guage is available on it's own, or as a whole dial unit.

could be the sender in the fuel tank acting up and sending an unreliable signal to the gauge. the gauge will work off a voltage that is sent to it from the sender in the fuel tank. the sender will most probably be a crude slider potentiometer, which if old, might have a few sticky spots. i really doubt the gauge will be at fault.

if you do find the gauge is broken, i have a spare that i know is good that i would be willing to sell (i only wanted the speedo out of the clock assy, so you could literally just fit your speedo in and have a fully functioning set of clocks again.)

But if he hits the gauge itself and that jolts it into working, it must be the gauge?
