Good luck , Having been down this route last year a full service history including having had all the extended scope inspections and the documentary evidence that these had been carried out were crucial in getting Skoda to agree to carry out a full repair on our car. Regarding the first few services if they were carried out by an authorised Skoda Dealer then they should have been recorded on the electronic servicing record which you could request a copy off

I withdrew from my Škoda finance agreement last year after 11 days (within the 14 day period) on a 3 month old used Karoq I had to pay £72.38 interest ( £6.58 per day) but retained all the incentives that were given at that time, £250 Škoda Contribution, 2 years roadside assistance and two services.

It was brought to the attention of the service advisor that there small bubbling around the fuel filler cap when the vehicle had its 11 year service, once the full service history including all the extended scope inspections had been carried out were confirmed, the dealership dealt with the issue in accordance with the Škoda TPI resulting in it being booked into a Škoda approved body shop for repair under the 12year anti perforation warranty

We have just got our 2014 Citigo back from having the rear offside panel replaced under the Škoda 12 year anti perforation warranty, we have owned the car from new and having a full Škoda service history including the extended scope inspections were crucial to this successful warranty claim, which also included the fitting of wheel arch liners to prevent the rust returning

A6DTH & thamestrader , The off road button is part of the performance package which is standard on Sportline Edition models but was an over £1000 option on some earlier models which may be why you don’t have on your cars From the 2024 Karoq Brochure “Performance Package. Driving Mode select with ECO function and DCC (Dynamic chassis control). Hill start assist/hill descent control (only for 4x4 engines)

Matrix Headlights Question
If it is switched on in the infotainment system menu when the lights are in auto mode then by pushing the lever forward in the direction of the arrow the the matrix is in operation, it does require the ambient light level to be low to work properly . I found that the owner’s manual described the operation quite well

The way mine has been set up is the bong is normally when you move from one speed zone to another ie 30➡️40 and the dings are if you are driving over the speed limit perceived by the Sat Nav
