what i want to know is is it physically possible to use one on a 1.4mpi (8 valve) engine or not. ?

i'm not entirely sure if the pulley business is doable. if it is any help would be vastly appreciated...bearing in mind i want something different to the usual 'turbo' route..and fancy a nicer noise ;)

any help - ross you know cars better than most it seems...is it possible?

Im sure there was a post on here about a month ago where someone had turbocharged a 1.4mpi.. :) not sure about supercharging... dont think it would give enough power to cost to be worthwhile

As Neo said you can Supercharge a 1.4 but there is a massive power drain as the supercharger is run directly off the engine. Saying that it would be great to see a 1.4 supercharged lump :D
