The Cornering lights warning has started to flash when I turn the ignition on. This is odd as my Roomy2 1.9TDi does not have cornering lights. Does anyone have any thoughts to a solution. The alternative is to take it back to the local dealer - at what price! Skoda technical suggest that I ignore the warning as they confirm the car does not have the cornering lights.

I've seen on Fabias where a scan with VCDS shows communication errors with systems that are not fitted to the car, notably with address 22 the all wheel drive system. The way to rectify this is to recode the gateway, address 19, with exactly the same code so that the control unit installalation list is refreshed. Your Roomster may need the same.

Many thanks for you reply. Forgive my ignorance but is VCDS generally available to say a local independent garage and Is the procedure you suggest something that can be done easily, or is it a dealer task?
