having major trouble removing head unit on my fabia 02 plate any ideas would be great

Go to Halfords tomorrow and buy some Kenwood stereo removal tools they fit in the slots and allow you to pull the head unit out.

Alternatively, find a group of local hoodies and they'll have it out for you in a few seconds :rofl:

Once you have the correct keys it comes out with a little persuasion. You'll be swearing even more when it comes to putting the new one in :)

Old hacksaw blades with the end pips chopped off. 30 second job.

do what i did and go to the nearest skoda garage and ask them to do it! They can struggle with it then!! ;) You may need a part for fitting a 'standard' sized radio. It just tidies things up by the looks of mine. Only cost me £3 though! Hope that helps!!
