Evening everyone,

First post on the forum, which looks great and active. Not yet a Skoda owner but I'm trying my best to buy a new Yeti or Octavia vRS Estate. Currently driving a Land Rover Discovery 3 but I am so impressed with the Skoda line up at the moment that I want one.

I'm going to post in the off topic section for tips on how to convert my wife from a badge snob so that she will come to her senses and agree that Skoda is the way forward.

Welcome - just mention the Golf GTi / Octavia vRS price differential and how much more you could lavish on her, then have amnesia once you get the car

Last year I had my 2013 Mk. 2 Fabia air conditioning (A/C) serviced by WeChillAnyCar - I had used them before on a different car. They extracted the gas, refilled it, (allegedly) tested that everything worked and I paid them for the work.. I didn't think to test it until a few weeks later when I discovered that it didn't work at all. After numerous 'phone calls and emails I accepted that they weren't going to admit that they hadn't actually tested it. I gave up and took the car to an authorised

First time starting a project thread, bear with me... Heard about this Roomster not too far from me that might be heading for a scrapyard, and decided to try to acquire it. I bought a sportline flat bottom steering wheel but it was the heated version with the view button. I knew the airbag would have a bit of a gap but I didn’t like how it looked or felt overall. So I now have that for sale if anyone is interested. I am on the hunt for a round leather steering wheel. Version with phone button not view button, but with the DSG paddles. If anyone can point me in the direction of the correct part number or even if you have one for sale please let me know!
