Auxillary belt tensioner

Featured Replies

After diagnosing the strange noise on SWMBO's ASZ engined Vrs to be a noisy tensioner we bought a replacement. After looking at the new one it seems that the whole assembly screws to the side of the engine, is it just a case of using the 16mm bolt on the pulley to wind it off or is there something else to it? I thought i better ask the 'profesionals' before i go and break something! Thanks in advance
