Heel plates for car mat

Featured Replies

Hi all

sorry if this is in the wrong place, wasn't sure where best place to post this question was

so my leased Octavia's horrid car mats that the lease company provided have been finally binned after I wore a hole through with my heel

just got an original skoda set from rainworth motors eBay store and was considering how I might protect them and stop them from going the same way so quickly. They've already had an application of chemical guys fabric protection stuff

So has anyone added heel plates/pads to their mats? What would you recommend?

I spotted these

http://www.modworld.co.uk/aluminium-heel-plate-for-car-mats---black-7019-p.asp

they do a black one, but can't help thinking they are a bit too chavvy for me! But perhaps they look better it the flesh? Has anyonye used these?

Thanks

chris

No opinions? :(

just spotted this - I don't normally look at the detailing thread (but sunny weather does strange things!), but think perhaps you would be better re-posting in the general Octy II thread as I'm sure more people would see it and there would be more chance of some suggestions...

Skoda carpet mats are rubbish

Get some aftermarket ones or Rubber ones

I have fitted the skoda rubber mat for day to day and only fit the carpet mats for meets
