I'm considering an Evoms intake along with Milltek cat-back for my car, which needs a bit more noise to go with the Shark-induced power

Having said that, I'm not a boy racer and don't want to attract attention just driving about normally. So how noisy is the EVOMS kit please and is it worth it?

The EVOMS on it's own won't make a great deal of noise. It's only when you use it in conjunction with a blow off valve that it makes a racket really.

I have both fitted to my car, and love the noise it makes!

Interesting thanks, although I wasn't planning on changing the valve. I guess there must be a bit more induction noise over the standard sealed airbox?

Yeh, it will make a bit of noise but nothing I'd class as 'boy racer'.

i had the blow of valve fitted to mine along with the ITG. the |ITG whoosh sounded ace, but the blow off valve to me sounded really chavish and i took it off.

if you want the performance gain o an intake try the Forge twintake, they have enclosed filters so the sound is less but the gains are still there
