2.0 TFSI Milltek on 2.0 TDI?

Featured Replies

Can anyone advise, if I bought a Milltek exhaust from an Octy 2.0 TFSI, would it fit to my 2.0 TDI in conjunction with the 2.0 TDI Milltek Downpipe, or are the fitments different in some way? I can get my hands on a TFSI exhaust cheap!

cant see it fitting

car is the same underneath is it not?

Phone Milltek. I believe they sell an adapter piece to bridge between a PD170 downpipe and their catback.

Nice photo wega <very top gear>

You would have thought it was just a case of a different down pipe but you've then got take into account, exhausts are tuned for resonance so they dont sound too boomy or loud at certain frequencies and amplify others.

are the diesel and petrol mufflers the same? The PD170 Golf GT Exhaust system is a completely different setup to that of the GTi from what i can tell looking at the website, cant see skoda case being any different

WIll phone Milltek when they open again and post results, I notice on the Website they have 140 PD Golfs with TFSI exhausts fitted using an adapter pipe....

Bump! :D

I need to know the answer to this one

IIRC it does fit however one of the connecting pipes sleeves (reducer) will have to be custom made to fit the downpipe

Thanks. Also wondering how it will sound though as well.

Plus it would need matching upto a 2.5" decat pipe in my case as well.
