Recently back in Skoda land, previously had a Fabia 1.9SDI and now have a 2001 1.9TDI 110 Octavia!

Love the Skodas and successfully fitted parking sensors to my Fabia using a rather excellent guide I found on Fabia vrs, and was wondering if there was one for the Octavia, I have seeked and not found....

If you managed to fit a set to the Fabia, you should find it pretty straight forward on the Octavia.

I fitted a set on mine and I think that the hardest part was figuring out how to get the trim pieces off below the rear lights so that I could remove the bumper as the first one was a bit stiff.

Mine are mounted in the rubbing strip so that I didn't need to paint them.

I was worried about the distance between the sensors and the placement of them as this was detailed in the Fabia guide and seems important for correct detection of bad stuff lurking behind me!

Anyone? Will have to guess otherwise.....

My middle two are 38cm apart, with the outer two 37cm further out. Seem to work well enough on mine.
