You will need 15 or so self tapper screws, (they are fancy screws that dont need a pilot hole drilled first)

Assuming its a leon coupra splitter, you have to cut off the two bits that stick up on the middle, but not complety! if you ever seen a splitter fitted to a fabia then ul see how much you need to cut off, (their is a line i think just cut to it)

cut a small triangle shape out of the spllitter at the corners, to help it bend to fit a fabia.

i started by having a mate hold it in what looked like the middle, and screwed a self tapper through the two bits in the middle (which you trimmed down earlier), and seen that it was centered. then screwed another screw into the corners, trimmed the end of the splitter where it meets in front of the front weel, and drilled the rest in starting from the middle out to the end!!

Simple enough, I read through a few guides a number of times which didnt really help, just told me what to cut and its self explanitary after that!! (even the cutting is pretty self explanitary lol)

just to be more specific its item number on ebay as 130378286166

You could have saved a bit of money and got the part direct from Seat; you've been ripped off a bit there. But apart from that, yes, the fitting process is the same.

The man above has explained perfectly how to do it. It is pretty easy really just make sure its central or it will look stupid. They do look good but 40 seems really expensive to me. I got mine for 20 quid directly from seat. Don't suppose you can cancel the order?

If I'd paid that much for a splitter, I'd have at least expected a reach aroundemoticon-0102-bigsmile.gif

If you'd looked on here first, Then gone to a SEAT dealer and asked really nicely they would have taken 10-15% off bringing it down to about £19emoticon-0144-nod.gif

use a hairdrier to bend the plastic into shape a little - I did with mine!
