as title my coilovers turned up today so i attacked it and hit my first snag, no 21mm deep socket :'( so left them till i can get one tommorrow

so decided to do the backs all fine and dandy till we saw the bump stops or what was left of them they need replacing both sides but took the top mount thingy off which holds the top of the strut to the car and the drivers side is broke round where the nut fastens :'( :'(

please help

they come as a pair matey, im not sure why there are two listed? they also stock and can get hold of more than what is listed on their website so it may well be worth calling them, they might have or be able to get you the bump stops?

If you are lowering a lot you will need to cut the rear bump stops down to stop 'bumping' out on them too early.

no worries really good service too. when i fitted my weitecs i bought all my top mounts and bits from them except my nuts and bolts (i replaced everything) from skoda.

my weitecs came with new top mounts and bearings for the fronts, but will def give them a call and oreder from there

top mounts arent part of their kit, you must have been lucky and whoever sold them to you had some included

brought off here mate tattoo_stew69 top bloke brought em for his and never fitted them so it was brand new coilovers top mounts n bearings

there is 1 thread left on the rear and 5 on the front but im debating with just winding them all the way down

but when new bump stops arrive i will cut them down. how much would you recommend i take off them?
