Well, after my Honda Accord got totalled a few weeks back, I've been doing the old showroom shuffle and trying to work out what to get. Looked at all sort before being pointed in the direction of an Octavia and realising it ticked pretty much every box. So after poking round on here for a while and asking various (probably quite dumb) questions, I am now the proud owner of a black '07 vRS (26.5K, Xenons, rear parking sensors, Maxidot). Was a private sale so always a bit of uncertainty, but picked it up last night and very much enjoyed the drive home.

Muchos gracias to pete8tch for his assistance and words of wisdom (at least I think they were words of wisdom.....either that or he had chronic indigestion), even to the point of driving all the way to Brum with me to view the car (and no, I wasn't ever lost....I was simply testing the TomTom's range of functionality!). Thanks pete....much appreciated. But you never mentioned anything about black ones being hard to keep clean! Sheesh....!!!
