Newest reg mk1 Octy?

Featured Replies

We were sat in a McDonalds car park earlier eating a MvFlurry each when an Octy I taxi drove into the car park. The funny thing was it was a 57 plate!!! :o

Didn't the Octy II get introduced around 55 reg??? If so surely this must be the newest reg Octy I.... Must have been stood / stored somewhere for around two years before being registered.

Cheers

I believe the mk1 was / is still made for the purposes of fleets, taxis, etc, but only in classic trim.:)

Here in Romania MK1 Octavia is still selling brand new to everyone at main at all dealers like MK2 facelift

The basic version of 1.6 petrol is about 9.950 Euro

Thinkiing about it, they must be pretty damn-good all round vehicles if they're still made alongside a new model!

Ye they also made a vRX one last year/ end of 2008 I beleive for normal purchase. Looked crap tho!

Why did it look crap? Small wheels, rubbish spoiler? Silly sideskirts with a twist in 'em?

i noticed an octy mk1 taxi aswel that was i think a 58 reg, had to take a second look at it to make sure, now i know why!

weve got a mk2 taxi on an 04 plate

Is that VRx sticker really from the dealer though or just someone fitting an aftermarket one?
