Paint hairline cracks coming from headlight? (vRS)

Featured Replies

Hi,

Set about properly washing and polishing the car (05 fabia vrs) in the good weather yesterday and got slightly alarmed to see theres some thin hairlike cracking coming down from underneath my headlights (sort of on the bumper I guess) which is worse on one side than the other. This only seems to have happened in the last couple of months as hadn't noticed it before.

Bit worried as it looks like it will only get worse.. what can I do about this? Had a quick search and saw that paint problems seem to happen to other skoda's too. Never had any bodywork done on any car before so not too sure what the best course of action is to fix/prevent further cracking!

Cheers!

dudey, you could try http://www.chipsaway.co.uk/

I've seen them at work a few times sorting out mercs and they seem to be good with small repairs. They could look at your alloys also...or you could try clean image
