Hi ive got a mk1 octy vrs 05 plate,recently the rear drivers door has not always been unlocking when i press the fob.Sometimes its ok and when it sticks if i press the door unlock button on drivers door control panel that used to cure it.Went out today and it wont open at all either fob or off drivers door.I cant remove door panel to have a look cos i cant open door to take it off,how the hell do i get the door open? any help would be appreciated

Hi i've had this happen once I fixed it by locking doors with key then instantly pressing open on the fob with the key still in lock or vice versa try it a couple of times if doesn't work first time! Good luck

i got trim off with door closed,and managed to open it that way,need new lock now

How did you get the door card off with the door closed????

Type the following into Google and have a read of the various threads on this subject.

you need to break the card off ( the mounting lugs underneath will break) then you need to access the motor, basically lever the locking part over so it opens or break the whole thing out, whichever works basically.
