Service Indicator

Featured Replies

Hi all

I hope that someone can help me and I hope that I'm not being a bit thick.

I have an 09 Plate VRS CDI with about 10K on the clock and I was thinking about servicing. The log book says that it's set for variable servicing and to check the instrument display. I checked the manual and it says that the display will show the number of days and Km to the next service when you turn on the ignition but mine doesn't. Is there a setting that I've missed, something that I'm doing wrong or do I need to take it to a dealer?

FYI: I don't have the maxi dot display and what I see when I turn the ignition on is the clock at the top of the display, then a line then the variable information (mileag/temp etc) then a line and below that the trip meter and either the total miles when at rest or the speed in Kph when moving. I can change the clock and the variable information but nothing refers to the next service.

As you can imagine I am concerned as I don't want to miss a service.

Any help will be appreciated.

Thanks

Breeze,

if you turn your ignition key to its first setting so that the dash illuminates then hold down your odometer rest button this will show you the information your require. as you get within a 1000 miles of the service it automatically displays as you start the engine as well.
