Spain - PAYG Mobile broadband

Featured Replies

We are off on holiday in June, and as usual I'll have my laptop. This year we are staying in a villa rather than hotel, so I am looking into ways of getting internet access on my laptop.

What I would like and prefer to do, is once in spain get hold of a local PAYG USB mobile broadband thingy and use it with my laptop. The biggest issue is going to be coverage and networks, so I am looking for advice on several fronts.

1) which company (Vodafone, Orange, Movistar, Other)?.

2) anyone know of where I could get hold of coverage maps for southern spain from?.

I did find this but dont really understand the vodafone payg system and how it works.

I've friends who live in Murcia which not as far down as Marbella, is fairly southern. I'll ask an opinion on which company

:)

**edit**

turns out my mate's being a bit...Spanish and not getting the jist of what I was asking  we're over there mid may so I can try asking him again then?

Thanks, that would be handy. Still keen to give this a go instead of using cyber cafes.
