Friday Night Sunset

As above really, did anyone manage to get any good shots of the sunset on Friday night?

The one that would not have been ruined by aircraft vapour trails?

I was all twitchy as I drove down the M1 looking at the orange glow unfold, but alas was camera-less.

I was hoping my body would have been returned from Canon (1D3 focus issues, 4th time return) but no, they have had it a week & still no luck. :(

driving to pick my girlfriend up i drove past a guy on the side of the road with his monopod snapping away so someone got it!

how about last night? the sunset was pretty spectacular with the cloud cover where i was. had my mamiya all ready to go in the car but i was in the Liebherr at work and we were very busy. i had to sit there and watch it disapear wishing i could shoot it :'(
