Basically, My rear door on my drivers side octavia VRS (03 plate) is locked and will not open. I have the new lock and the wiring loom but technically the open way I would be bale to attempt to get it open is if I remove the door card, but seen as it is stuck shut, if I remove it this way, I am seriously running the risk of damaging the car etc etc.

What I would like to know is: When I plug the dyag into the car, is there a code we can put into it so It will let me over-ride the onboard computer, open the door and then do the repair.

All help will be much appreciated.

Have you tried the old "Disconnect the battery, wait an hour, reconnect" type of approach at all? It may reset the electrics, may not. Nothing to lose, though exept a small amount of time!
