Hi all,

Quick question, i have the standard head unit in the fabia with the optional 6 disk changer under the seat. i fancy a new head unit but like the convenience of my changer, will the changer plug be compatible with any of the bigger manufacturers head units. I.e can i keep my changer but put a blaupunkt or sony head in for instance?

Nobody got any ideas??

I think someone's actually asked this same question somewhere else, and the answer seems to be no, unfortunately... You can fit an aftermarket changer to a standard HU using an adaptor (which is what I did on mine), but as far as I know, you can't get an adaptor to make the Skoda changer work with an aftermarket HU...

Thats correct.

If you want a new HU then you would need to buy a new changer as well.

This mod is done best with a shmoke and a pancacke!

There is a guy from my work who apparently knows how to do this,

said if we meet him and buy 20 rachobutler he will do it!!

And my heated windows are great, i assume that to be "to keep your hands warm" genre comedy. ive not tried yet, but be sure to keep me updated on citroens returns policy. you should know that inside out by now C2 boy.
