You'll need the same tools as for the front bumper. Start with inside your boot, and peel back the side carpet mouldings and undo the two 10mm bolts that hold the retaining plates on the side of the bumper under the rubbing strip. On the nearside if you still have the CD changer this will have to come off because the bolts secure the mounting plate for the changer.

Next job is to go round the bumper starting in the wheel arches and remove all of the torx screws (which will mean mud flaps come off too. Follow round the bumper, underneath and around to the other side, can't remember how many there are in total, but I'd guess on about 11 or so.

Now prise off the plastic square edges trim strip that runs along the opening of the boot between the lights. This'll reveal a few more torx screws. Final bit to do is to get at the final two torx screws. These are hidden behind the trims that sit directly under the light clusters. With the previously mentioned square edged trim strip removed, you'll see a small allen key style bolt, remove this then the trim pieces slide towards the centre of the car. A screwdriver wrapped with cloth may be used to lever the strips sideways if necessary. Undo the final torx screws and then you're ready to get the bumper off. Pull either side behind the wheels to pop the locating guides out from the bodywork then pull backwards away from the car.

Fitting is the reverse order....
