Real Reason Green Calipers Dropped on VRS

Featured Replies

Now that Porsche is part of VW group ,officially a concept the Porsche 918 Spyder ,could be the Carrera Gt sucessor. ,and has GREEN brake calipers, check out Top gear April p20 or on here, the guy is annoying but stick with it shows the car on the road

You don't think that because the concept is supposed to be a 'green' supercar they put those calipers on?

You never know! Oh and in response to your quesion in your signature the answer is white :giggle:

White is winning so far. Trouble is I went out in a 170bhp black edition A3 Quattro earlier and with a Bose stereo, leather and Xenons and cool flat bottomed wheel as standard the Audi is winning now!

Let's hope it works the other way and you can spec those wheels!

The black edition was on my list but too but it's the pd's not cr. I chose a golf over the Audi as it was a better car, quieter, handled better and trim was better.

But after waiting 5months and no build date I cancelled and trialled the octy and Audi, the octy won as a better car and also cheaper.

the Audi I tested was the 170 cr. What annoys me is with the Black Edition you get Xenons, Bose including an iPod connector quality seats for no extra charge. The Bluetooth, which is an absolute must for me, is only a £240 option whereas Skoda want £440!!! Xenons on the Skoda are £700 and an iPod connector is £200. I just don't know if I can justify the extra outlay on a Skoda
