Boost Pipe woe

Featured Replies

So i got this last wed from TPS. its brand new

replaced it after destroying my other one trying to fit a boost gauge

Yes these two parts are suppose to be connected =(

Im running a remap (guess of around 180bhp)

Do people think its a faulty part or am i just asking too much of it

Where abouts on the intercooler system does that connect ??

By the Looks of the connectors either end of the pipe it must have a rubber Boost hose connecting to each end internally... If so & it is not Faulty !!! You could always replace it with a solid piece of Stainless tube vut the Vag connectors off the existing boost hose's & clamp with some good quality Jubilee's..

Having said all that, I would of said that the plastic ends should be fixed & a car running 180 Bhp would not blow that apart normally ....

Its the top hose that comes from the intercooler back to the engine

the problem with using a peice of pipe to replace it is to find one the right shape

You can easily get one bent at a Custom Exhaust Centre using your plastic original as a template or there was someone on here selling them pre bent Etc in Stainless.
