Felicia engine / modding

Featured Replies

Hi all!

Guys, i've got a T reg 1.6 GLXi Felicia. First off, does anyone know what the VW is sitting in there?? Is it the 6N? If so, how many horses is it chucking out?? In the manual it reckons 75BHP. I think that is a bit of an understatement. Also, what would be a good idea for suspension? Sorry for all the questions :),

Cheers,

James

hey, i got a 1.6 glx. think there awesome, a bit unpreditctable but i think there faster than a lot of people expect.

i want to try and modify it a bit aswell but struggling to find parts and no ideas just yet

hi there,

the 1.6 is the vw AEE, and yes, it is 75bhp.

as for modding, mine is lowered 35mm, has a stiffer anti roll bar, grooved brakes with EBC green stuff pads, an induction kit and i'm in the middle of making a custom exhaust for it.

i will however, be changing the suspension to a HP sporting setup when i can be bothered.

and i should have some RH cuprad wheels, with 195/45/15 yokohama tyers coming soon.

if you want to know just what you can do with the AEE engine, see http://www.briskoda.net/forums/felicia-fun-forman/omg-begins/75781/

Apparently fiesta front suspention stuts are a direct replacement... get some nice XR2 front suspention for it!

I havnt modded my engine, I dont think it needs it really!

however i have been toying with the idea of buying an exhaust for it!

cobra, scorpion, magnex, etc.

Apparently fiesta front suspention stuts are a direct replacement... get some nice XR2 front suspention for it!
