clutch slippage!

every now and then when im driving about in the fabia the clutch wil slip, normally happens in 3rd or 4th when the power kicks in, just does it for afew seconds but theres no smell from the clutch or anything and it only does it every now and then like thismornin on the way home i pulled out on the motorway to pass a car in 6th and it started slipping but afew miles down the road when i did it again it didnt slip?? the car has been remapped aswel if that helps

It will only get progressivly worse :) try driving it more like a petrol use the revs other than the torque!! Dont plant it before 3k feed the power the torques low down in the rev range!! You could just replace the clutch with a standard item after all its done a good job being on 80k :) or uprate your clutch to a sachs, replace the flywheel too while your at it, it will cost you a fair bit of wonga tho

Gonna put a new cluch and flywheel in, can get a sachs 1 from eurocarparts for 340 for clutch, flywheel and pressure plate, as u say its done 80k so aint doing bad
