Would love to buy an Edition 30 in Candy White.

I can has?

I saw one in perfect spec on Autotrader last week... Ed30, Candy White, DSG, Recaros

please tell me your putting water meth injection on the car. between the GTI forums and seat forums there are about 15 or so people considering WMI but reluctant to do it as it is unknown territory in the uk on the tfsi engine.

if you were to do it would you do before and after runs as well to show the imrpovements

thats a good time for the 1/4 as well. there is a leaderboard on the mk5 forum that you should enter it onto provided you can confirm the run.

hat would be good enoug for 3rd place on the board with only a stripped out stage 2+ ed30 (1st) and a big turbo S3 faster than you

1/4 mile leaderboard

We have a TFSI kit on the shelf at the minute and there's talk of it going on the Mk5...

I know luke has posted about it on the Mk5 forum so i'll get him to add it to the quarter mile time.

We're hoping a hybrid K04 should beat JohnnyC's time although we've got his car in the workshop at the moment with the new owner and it's not a happy bunny, neither is it making the power it was advertised at.. Which would explain why it ran slower times with the GT30 than it did on a standard turbo.

Quick update:

We're deciding to go down the route of Turbo Dynamics MD507 hybrid K04. We want to try this route before going GT30 based turbo kits because we believe the car will be genuinely quicker on the road with a quick spooling Hybrid K04..

Watch this space :D

I think i just made a sex wee

would you guys be doing the WMI before the turbo conversion then??? im not bothered about going big turbo. id prefer the quick spool of the k04 instead of a GT28/30. much more real world ability.

I think we'll perhaps do it at the same time, as we'll have the bumper off for an S3 intercooler too so can mount the W/I then.

Will post updates as and when they come, i think we're planning to have the turbo off to Turbo Dynamics on Monday..

It's going to the ring in 3 weeks so gotta get it all done before then :)
