Featured Replies

Has anyone fitted a RGM Rearguard Bumper Protector to their car.

If so whats your opinion on the product? How easy are they to fit and whats the fit like?

Are they worth fitting?

Yeah mate ive fitted one to ours. Really easy to fit took about 15mins blends nicely with the rear looks like a factory fitment

Many thanks will get one.

Ordered two one for my VRs and one for the GFs golf. Should be here this week.

Any pictures of it fitted to the car? Where's the best place to get one? I've been looking for something like this to stop the dog scratching the bumper every time he gets in and out.

Thanks,

John

I am going to RGM direct. They are a few pence cheaper than the eBay site and more likely to send you the correct rearguard for your car.

They have pictures on their site of the kit fitted but not of all Skoda models.

Have you thought of this instead ,

It's certainly a lot cheaper at £15.00 + p&p and keeps the factory look I had it on my old VRS and my with my job I carry dogs on a daily basis and it was faultless.

However my mum has a RGM guard on her Fiat panda and I must admit they are good.

Was the Bodyguard product easy to fit? It is hard to get much of an impression from the web site and 'universal' kits are sometimes another of describing something that needs a lot of luck to get right!

To be honest they fitted it for me but they did let me have a go and yeah it was easy enough. It can also be polished too to give it extra protection.

Here you go

I must admit that looks good just for pure selfishness I would love to see one on a race blue estate as the RGM website shows a slightly different shape to the hatch

just seen one of these on ebay... unfortunately i've already scratched my rear bumper :( ... wondering if this will be a good way to hide the crime though! (and perhaps stop it from happening again!)

Anyone had any experience of taking one of these RGM rearguards off (after being on for some time). Do the adhesive pads damage the bumper paint?

I asked RG themselves and they said it would leave marks when removed. Not for me for that reason.

Bought one. Easy to fit and effective . But OTT price IMHO for a little bit of moulded plastic.
