has anybody got the special spanner you need to take the track rod balljoint out of the power steering rack? maybe jimbo or darren might have one?? or does anybody know the part number for it so i can order one from the stealer :wonder:

Sorry, Tom. Last time I did one like that I ground a normal spanner into submission, but that was a looooooong time ago. Wassit look like on a Fel then? (one i did was just very slim)

pipe wrench or big molegrips mate, they are not very tight at all, and nothing to damage really in there

just thought i'd update this thread, the special tool needed is part number MP7-601 from the skoda dealer
