Send me a PM and I will try and send you a print out from the manual. Not clearest text but diagrams okay. Sorry talking about Haldex. My recollection of 1.9 is that diesel filter is to left of engine bay .

sorry, cant help with the haldex, but the fuel filter is front left of the engine, high up, with 2 (or 3) pipes running into a black topped tube, which is secured with allen bolts IIRC.

Thank you for the information - I have now ordered the workshop manual from the ebay site recommended by Morganic. The last time I tried one of these from a different supplier, it was worse than useless, but I am assured this one works.
