If I may nab a fabulous acronym, SWMBO has given tentative approval for me to take the 4 year old daughter to see the ASCARs at Rockingham. Puts me a few more miles towards full run in

We went to round 1 and the little 'un enjoyed it, but she had a friend with her that time...

I probably won't be able to make any meets myself as #1 priority will be entertaining the anklebiter, but would like to find out who has similar interests.

Id love to go , but I'm away to London on a DPS railtour trip on Sat , so will have to try and get down some other time. I've promised myself a trip to an ASCAR event sometime , will probably be next season now , given the state of my bank balance!

Hi guys, I'm at desperation stage here. Changed bearings on the car. Ball joints also changed. The threads on my TREs were goosed from getting the busy off, so I bought new ones to replace them. My issue is the jam nuts. I have watched/read pretty much everything that's out there, yet these things won't budge. Tried heat, spray etc. Is it definitely clockwise for both to loosen them off you are looking at the hub from the outside of the wheel arch? Lefty loosey when looking from the insid

Hi new to the site I have just purchased a 2008 superb Laurin and klement edition in dark blue with cream leather 118000 with original wheels athou the wheels need full refurb i think they are diamond cut but maybe someone could correct me could anyone tell me how many were produced in mk1s and are they a rare car I would have preferred the 1.9 as apose to the 2.0 litre but it drives just a good and coud not find this edition in a 1.9 but I don't think they did a laurin klement in a 1.9 tdi but

Generally, i dont like to be one of those people to open up another topic that has been exhausted time and time again, but after extensive research, i really am struggling to find a forum response that matches fully with my issue. I wonder if someone can help me identify the correct OEM product number for a gearbox oil change I am planning. The car is 19 years old and just passed the 50k mile mark and I thought it would be prudent to change the oil when I service it this summer. The trouble I am having is getting any reliable information from online purveyors of oil. I would like to buy original VAG oil. Mine is a 5 speed manual gearbox.
