Getting a bit fed up with not having a off point on the mirror switch so thinking of putting in a switch above the radio with a timer to control the mirrors instead.

Has anyone done this before and did Skoda make any switches that have timer functions in them.

There is an off point on the switch. :yes:

The heated mirrors should only work when the knurled knob is in the middle position.

If its pointing at left or right mirror, the heating elements are off.

This way you can just demist the rear screen if you want to...

No need to change any wiring mate or damage your dashboard.:no:

Any VAG car with the folding wing mirrors has a separate heated mirror switch point ie. A fourth switch location where everything is non-functional. Try a Passat 3c switch instead in the same location.
