EVOM air intake system

Featured Replies

I have heard from jtm? that the gain using the air intake is about 10 bhp and a bit more torque. Anyone have it fitted. Notice any difference worth 300 quid?

Got 1 here, I would say it's a worthwhile addition but to see maximum gains it would need to run along side a remap and DP and Sport cat. Having said that, I haven't got the DP yet, just a remap and I could notice the difference after fitting, more torque and it seemed to rev harder and the sound........ B)

I can't comment on value for money as I got lucky and picked up a 2nd hand complete system including Evoms replacement engine cover for 180 sheets inc del!

a good intake is definately worth the money, however it wouldnt be the first of things id say to get done. Id say stage 1 remap, followed by downpipe an stage 2 remap, and then id be looking at the intake.

Agreed, if only I'd seen your DP sooner......it would now be mine! :'(
