Octy Mk1 - so what is mine?

Featured Replies

Silly Q this perhaps - Octy Mk1 that most of you lot drive... thats a Mark 1 right? Mark II being the one thats just come out... So, what is the W reg and prior ones known as then? mark 0? Its pretty clear the styling differences between the two, plus the newer Mark1 uses the PD TDIs whereas mine is one of the 90/110 engines... Is the newer Mark1 just a "facelift" because its one fookin massive facelift IMO.

Someone put my "going overtime" mind to rest tonight so I can sleep. ;):D

The newer Mk1 is as you say just a face lift, but with a few other technical tweaks as well. As opposed to the Mk2 which is a completely new design. (I think)

Mk1 Actually come out god knows how long ago...

Jasons Octavia is known as an A4 Octavia

New shape is the A5 Octavia

If you want to get all technical ;)

had similar problem on the punto forum with the mark 3 punto.. jo public saw it as the mark 3.. but the more picky of forum users saw it as the 2.5 basically a mark two with diffrent lights and tweeks...awaiting the release of the proper mark 3 with a full on design change in 2005..

so how about the 1.5 for the tweeked face lift octys ?? with out getting too technical and going back to steam powered versions
