Hi my new FL vrs estate has arrived and I have noticed that the drivers side rear boot window has a orange line running through it like the heater element in the rear screen, but not on the passenger side ?

What is this orange line is it an element and if so why only one side?

it should have 2 , well there is on the hatch!

It's an aerial - not sure if am or fm but I expect someone here knows.

Have a "search" this has definitely been covered before (and recently).

It's one of two aerials the radio uses. AFAIK it can get better reception combining the signal from the two aerials than using either one of them.
