Help with Phone preparation on Octavia FL09

Featured Replies

Does anybody here in the forum has knowledge about the phone preparation on the octavia L&K estate?

I wish to fit a BT GSM II :apple: into the car, working with the Columbus and Maxi Dot.

SUK don't know what is included (parts) in the phone preparation. :(

Found today an electronic box under the drivers seat, attached to the seat, not to the frame.

I wonder if this is the "Mobile telephone operating electronics control unit (interface box) :mmm:

Thanks for any help

Just found out that the box is only for the seat memory, nothing to do with the BT

Ah apologies, I misread your post. I thought you already had BT installed and were trying to locate it, but based on your last statement am guessing you don't but are looking to retrospectively install it? What about a Fiscon? vRSCarl posted a guide not long ago on how to fit it yourself, believe me you want to follow it and not try to install it blind like I did! When I bought mine it was £317 delivered from www.fiscon.co.uk (using discount code scirocco123 if it still works). The difference to the factory-fit Bluetooth is that it supports most bluetooth phones, but doesn't provide voice dialling and uses the phone aerial only, however it does interface with the Bolero/Columbus and Maxidot provided you get the Basic Plus model.
