coil over problems on my octy vrs

Featured Replies

hi there all just wondering if any one can help i fitted some weitec coil overs on my car about 5 months ago and my car has developed a creek on the front when you pull away and stop when turning stopped , i had the front ones off yesterday to see if i could see any problem , what i found was the amount of amount of shocker stem showing on the passenger side is about 10mm less on the passenger than the drivers side , and if you strip the units down you have the large rubber mount on the top then another nut then the steering bearing then a metal retainer and then two like poly bush type bushes then the more standard yellow or orange type bump stop but the two black poly bush type ones had both cracked and split open just wondering if this could be anythink to do with my problem , and was wondering if you can buy the bushes for the weitecs ? cheers any info greatfull ie on how the system is built up

Do you not get a 12 month warranty and if so just get them sent back and repard or replaced.

can anyone shed any light on my problem please its getting worse

well as it looks like 1 has been leaking ? you would need to call the makers of them and see if thay can do anything for you.

Thay would know when thay made them and if there not to old thay may come to some agrement with you on the repair costs.
