Would it be easy enough to get a dealer to fit a CD player based in the new Fabias to replace my 402 cassette/radio in my 2 year old fabia? Anyone had this done? Idea of cost?

Yes it would be easy , although you'd almost certainly get a much better Pioneer/Sony/Kenwood etc CD player for less than the dealer would charge
