Took these last weekend.

Carole makes dresses as one of her hobbies and put together this nice blue dress assorted with a corset. She also knew of a nice area in Bracknell forest where there are lots of bluebells. So we thought we'd try some off camera lighting in the late afternoon.

Artificial lighting was a sb900 shooting through a cheap softbox. I had a WU-800 on the camera as I wanted to see how reliable TTL metering was off-camera.

This one was with -1 ev compensation on the flash IIRC.

This was with natural light. I need to find a way of reflecting some light to fill the eyes when so low to the ground without it being obvious...

Have to say, it's really addictive, and want to have another play, although I think I want a bigger / better softbox. I'm trying to find a speedring adaptor so I can use my elinchrom light modifiers with a hot shoe flash. Anyone come across one?

Speedlite with a tight grid would fill it nicely? Perhaps with a CTO gel and you'd have a kind of sunrise/set effect that might be quite nice too?
