Another Suspension Question

Featured Replies

Hi everyone,

I know from looking through pages of searches that there are a lot of suspension discussions on here and I don't wanna start a new one, I just want a decision and some help on my little dilemma.

After my holiday I'm gonna be lowering my Fabia I was wondering what road to go down.

I'm NOT getting coilovers, there are too many mixed reviews and I dont wanna be one of the unlucky ones.

Do I get:

1) A kit such as the KW 25mm kit for better looks and handling, or

2) Eibach 25mm springs with a Whiteline RARB.

I will probably end up getting a RARB even if I go for option 1 but it wont be for a while.

So theres the options, ill take other suggestions as well but like I said I don't think we want this turning into another discussion thread. Which road do I go down

Thanks in advance all

im the same as u at the moment, wanna change my suspension but after looking through loads of posts on here still undecided.

at moment im edging towards the whiteline RARB with the Koni Strt kit, i dont want a major drop and where its gunna break my break on long trips.

ive found kit for £308 delivered and RARB is about £140,

might also install the cupra front bushes as they only cheap.

i was just going to buy springs but cars on 61k so might aswell put new shockers on aswell plus makes it easier to fit :)

Ye mine is on 75k so new shocks is probably on the cards. Id love to go for a kit and a RARB but dont wanna spend too much at once.

With that being the case would a kit be enough to change the handling and keep me happy until i decide to get a RARB in a few months after.

i wud say jsut fitted a new kit wud make loads of difference and keep u tickin over till the RARB. alot of ppl seem to think RARB is 2nd best mod after remap. so maybe RARB before spring kit?

i was suprised how cheap the Strt kit is so thought might aswell do both at once :)

just not sure if the kit any good on the vrs. so hoping to find someone with it fitted and with pics.

but at 75k i wud deffo so get a kit and not just lowering springs

Ive looked at the strt kit but again ive seen mixed reviews. The kw kit is quite cheap but ive only seen good reviews for it. The RARB has always been high on my list but i want to lower the car first as, to me the car just sits too high

yea i know wot u mean ive seen good and bad reviews for strt kit so unsure, have u got link for the KW kit, might have a look at that, cheers

Both seem good and reasonable prices. Any chance of a deal when buying both together, if thats what i decide to do?
