electric rear windows lock button led stays always on

Featured Replies

Did you noticed it?

if you press the button that locks the rear windows the yellow led stays on even if you close the car.

i don't think it wastes much energy but i find useful to switch off it before leaving the car for long time.

Much of the system is still live when you leave the car. Example is the remote door lock receiver and the alarm. i would not be concerned as the energy used is minimal and the benfits outweigh the small amount of power used. I expect the door lock LED on the central console also is alight.
