Had a service at Skoda less than 3000 miles ago, now the 'INSP' light is flashing on the dashboard when starting up. Why?

How do you reset this?

with vagcom try:

[select]

[17 - Instruments]

[Adaptation - 10]

Enter channel 02

[Read]

The "Stored Value" is the current value for that channel.

Enter the "New" value of 0 (zero)

[Test]

[save

How do you reset it without vagcom?

i did this with mine when the service was done early and the light came on after, racking my brain to remember how mate but not getting far. if i remember i will repost

I read somewhere to press the black dial thingy (for reseting the distance traveled and adjusting clock) hold it in turn the igition hold button for 10 more secs then then let go or something like I tried diff combinations but to no avail. Sorry about the useless post but it may work for you.

hold the trip reset button in...turn ignition on and hold for 10 secs till 0000 appears and turn button to the right...this done mine.

How do you reset it without vagcom?

Read RESET SERVICE rft.

SAVE to desktop then read from there.
