Home made exhaust?

Featured Replies

3" is perhaps a bit excessive, but it would do the job if you had a way of bending it, etc. Getting around the rear beam is a royal pain in the ass, but then at least you will have your current exhaust as a template.

Cheers. What would be better suited? 2'' or 2 1/2'' . My uncle should be able to do it at work, seeing as he's done other bits for me. (perks of him working at Mclaren B) )

If not ill just have a side exit exhaust or something.

Hi mate,

I work at a custom exhaust place we put 2" on most fabia's as a type r runs 2" and pushes out 200 bhp I would go for 2" as you can bend it on benders as far as 2 1/2" I'm running it on mine but I had to cut and weld rather than just bend as you lose diameter inside. I wouldn't go for 3" as it won't help at all we only put 3" on things running near or over 300 bhp

hope this helps
