I have the same problem, I haven't found a solution.

I've had a felicia 1.9d for over 10 years now. For the first few years of ownership the engine was always very harsh between 2000rpm and 2300rpm to the extent that it was uncomfortable to cruise at those engine revs because of the high frequency vibration. The dealers failed to find any faults to explain this, however after I got the car back from a cambelt & tensioner change at 80,000 miles the harshness & vibration had disappeared completely and has run smoothly since. It's now coming up to 130,000 miles.

Regards,

Andy
