The indicators of my 55 plate 1.9 have started to click quickly / randomly for about 30 seconds after I cancel them.

The indicators themselves seem to work fine and the clicking / flashing is at the usual rate.

Once cancelled, the clicking starts, but the indicator lights dont flash.

I notice that with the steering wheel turned, as if to cancel the indicators, the clicking sometimes starts.

Any idea what this could be?

had the same problem with my last car. it was the indicator stalk on the steering wheel that was at fault.
